As a seasoned professional with a passion for crafting exceptional travel experiences, Barney Murray brings a wealth of expertise in event planning, logistics, and client relations to his role as a Certified Travel Director. Since 2008, Barney has served as CEO of WiseWayz, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in meeting and event management. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of event execution, from strategic planning and on-site logistics to vendor partnerships and client communication. His experience managing high-profile events has equipped him with the skills to handle complex projects and deliver outstanding results.
Prior to WiseWayz, Barney spent nearly two decades at New York City Transit in the Employee Planning & Pick Unit. This role honed his abilities in scheduling, data entry, and employee relations, further strengthening his organizational skills and attention to detail.
Barney holds a Certified Travel Director certification (2022) and a Certified Guest Service Professional certification (2019), demonstrating his commitment to providing top-tier service and superior on-site leadership.
